About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Safety Manager to lead and strengthen the safety culture at our manufacturing facility in Jhagadia. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory safety requirements, implementing best safety practices, minimizing workplace risks, and driving continuous improvement in occupational health and safety performance.
Key Responsibilities
Safety Management
Develop, implement, and monitor site safety policies, procedures, and standards.
Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company EHS policies.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and workplace risk assessments.
Drive a robust safety culture through employee engagement and awareness programs.
Monitor and improve key safety performance indicators.




Risk Assessment & Hazard Management
Conduct Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) studies.
Lead safety reviews such as Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Permit-to-Work (PTW), and Process Safety Management (PSM) initiatives.
Identify unsafe conditions and practices and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
Incident Investigation
Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe incidents.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Maintain records and submit reports related to incidents and safety performance.
Emergency Preparedness
Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
Organize and conduct mock drills for fire, chemical spills, gas leakage, and other emergencies.
Coordinate with local authorities, fire departments, and emergency response teams.
Training & Awareness
Conduct safety induction programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
Organize periodic safety trai
