Role Overview (Immediate Joining)
We are looking for an HR Generalist to manage and support day-to-day HR operations, with a strong focus on recruitment, employee onboarding, and HRMS management. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and coordinating with employees, managers, and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage the complete recruitment cycle from manpower requisition to joining.
- Understand job requirements and prepare/source suitable candidates through job portals, databases, references, and other channels.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial HR interviews, and coordinate technical/management interviews.
- Schedule interviews and maintain regular follow-up with candidates.
- Coordinate salary discussions, offer releases, documentation, and joining formalities.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and ensure positions are closed within defined timelines.
- Develop and maintain a database of potential candidates for critical positions.
2. Employee Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end onboarding of new employees.
- Complete joining documentation, background verification, and statutory documentation.
- Create employee profiles and complete onboarding activities in the HRMS/HRIS.
- Coordinate induction and ensure employees understand company policies, processes, and attendance systems.
- Coordinate with Admin, IT, Finance, and concerned departments for smooth joining.
3. HRMS Management
- Maintain accurate and updated employee records in the HRMS.
- Manage employee lifecycle transactions including joining, transfers,
promotions, department changes, and exits.
- Monitor attendance, leave, employee information, and other HRMS-related data.
- Generate HR reports and MIS as required by management.
- Ensure timely and accurate HRMS updates and resolve employee queries related to the system.
- Support implementation and effective utilization of HRMS.
4. General HR Operations
- Handle day-to-day employee queries and provide timely HR support.
- Maintain employee files, HR records, and documentation.
- Support payroll inputs related to attendance, leave, new joiners, exits, and employee changes.
- Assist in performance management, employee engagement, training, and other HR initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company HR policies and procedures.
- Support statutory compliance activities as required.
- Assist in employee exit formalities, clearance, and full & final settlement process.
Educational Qualification and Experience
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in recruitment and HR operations.
- Prior experience in manufacturing industry is essential
- Strong understanding of recruitment channels and sourcing strategies
- Hands-on experience with HRMS/HRIS, preferably GreytHR or similar platforms.
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple positions simultaneously
- Proficiency in MS Excel and HR systems
