Senior Engineer - MCU Application Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Support development, testing, and validation of Electric Vehicle (EV) applications and control functions. Perform calibration activities using industry-standard tools such as INCA , Vector CANoe , and similar platforms. Work on motor control , inverter control , power electronics , and transmission application for electric powertrains.
Analyze system and component-level performance to ensure optimal control strategy implementation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, and system engineering to refine EV control functions. Diagnose and resolve calibration or control-related issues during bench, dyno, and vehicle testing.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and test results.
Experience 2–7 years of relevant experience.
Industry Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
General Requirements Required
Skills &
Qualifications Robust understanding of Electric Vehicle fundamentals , including high-voltage systems, powertrain architecture, and safety concepts. Hands-on experience with calibration tools such as: ETAS INCA Vector CANoe / CANalyzer Experience in application and control of electric motors (PMSM, IM, BLDC) and EV transmissions . Good knowledge of Control Units (ECUs) , including calibration workflows, signal monitoring, and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, etc.).
Strong understanding of power electronics (inverters, dc-dc converters, motor controllers). Capability to interpret system requirements, control algorithms, and software architecture. Strong analytical and debugging skills.
