Role Description The Senior Design Engineer will lead the design and development of transformers and chokes for sensing and power applications, ensuring products meet technical and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include creating and reviewing design specifications, performing detailed calculations, and preparing CAD models and engineering drawings. The role involves close collaboration with production, quality, and sales teams to support prototyping, testing, and design validation, as well as troubleshooting design-related issues in manufacturing or customer applications.

The Senior Design

Engineer will mentor junior engineers, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives,



and support documentation for certifications and audits. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mysore.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering and Product Design skills for developing and optimizing transformers and chokes.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for detailed modeling, drafting, and tolerance analysis.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering skills for understanding circuit requirements, magnetic components, and power applications.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field); a master’s degree is an advantage.
- Experience in transformer, inductor, or similar electromechanical product design, preferably in industrial or OEM environments.
- Proficiency in engineering tools and standards, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in office in cross-functional teams in Mysore.
