About The Role

We are looking for a Google Cloud Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based data platforms and ETL/ELT pipelines. The role requires solid hands-on expertise in GCP, BigQuery, Python, and SQL, along with experience in data engineering, cloud security, and production support.

The role involves developing scalable batch and streaming data pipelines using Python, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, Cloud Composer/Airflow, and Dataform. You will build data ingestion frameworks, dimensional data models, and solutions optimized for BigQuery performance and cost.

You will also contribute to CI/CD, source control, testing, monitoring, data quality, security, IAM, governance, and metadata management. The position requires close collaboration with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders, along with troubleshooting and performance tuning of production data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines on GCP
- Develop batch and streaming data ingestion frameworks
- Build dimensional data models and optimize BigQuery performance and cost
- Work with GCP services including Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Composer/Airflow, Dataform, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Scheduler
- Implement CI/CD, source control, testing, monitoring,



and data quality practices
- Support cloud security, IAM, governance, and metadata management
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform performance tuning
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders
