Role Description The Senior Chemist role is a full time, on-site position based in Bhandup, focused on specialty chemicals and pharmaceutical intermediates.

Responsibilities include planning and conducting laboratory experiments, developing and optimizing formulations and processes, and performing routine and advanced analytical testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.

The Senior

Chemist will lead quality control activities, ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements, and maintain accurate documentation, reports, and batch records. The role involves contributing to research and development projects, troubleshooting production issues,



collaborating with cross-functional teams such as production and quality assurance, and mentoring junior laboratory staff. The individual will also support continuous improvement initiatives in safety, efficiency, and product performance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Laboratory Skills, HPLC, GC calibration, Knowledge of Method Development, Knowledge of LC-MS, Knowledge of UPLC.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control capabilities, including test method execution, specification checks, and compliance with ISO and regulatory standards.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, problem-solving, and use of analytical techniques relevant to specialty solvents and intermediates.
- Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D;) and Research skills, including designing experiments, evaluating new processes, and supporting scale-up for production.
- Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry or a closely related discipline.
- Knowledge of safety practices, GMP or similar quality frameworks, and documentation standards in chemical manufacturing environments.
- Ability to work independently and in teams, manage multiple projects, and communicate findings clearly in written and verbal form.
- 1-3 years of Experience in Analytical Chemistry, industrial experience in specialty chemicals or pharmaceuticals is highly beneficial.
