Role Description The Senior Auditor role is a full time, on-site position based in Cochin/Calicut. This role involves planning and executing audit engagements, performing detailed testing of financial records, controls, and processes, and documenting findings in accordance with professional standards.

The Senior

Auditor will review working papers prepared by junior team members, provide guidance and coaching, and ensure adherence to regulatory and client-specific requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing financial statements,



identifying risks and control weaknesses, recommending improvements, and preparing clear audit reports and client communications. The role also requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, maintaining strong client relationships, and contributing to continuous improvement of audit methodologies and practices.

Qualifications

- Strong experience in Statutory Audit, including audit planning, execution, risk assessment, internal control evaluation, and completion of audit engagements.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit assignments with minimal supervision.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and auditing standards.
- Experience in reviewing financial statements and identifying financial, operational, and compliance risks.
- Proficiency in using audit tools, Microsoft Excel, and data analysis techniques to support audit conclusions.
- Strong documentation, analytical, report-writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate audit observations and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Newly Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4+ years of experience in Statutory Audit.
- ACCA Affiliate with 3-4 years of relevant Statutory Audit experience.
