Role Description The Senior Architect role at SMARTANK is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for designing and overseeing end-to-end architectural solutions that support complex business requirements and technology initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading architecture design efforts, guiding software development teams, defining integration approaches between systems, and ensuring that technical solutions align with strategic goals.

The Senior

Architect will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable architectures, review technical designs and code for compliance with standards, and manage architectural risks and dependencies across projects. This role also involves mentoring team members,



contributing to best practices, and supporting project managers in planning and delivering high-quality solutions on time.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, with experience defining scalable, secure, and maintainable system architectures.
- Candidates should possess hands-on Software Development experience, including working with modern frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
- Candidates should possess Integration skills, including designing and implementing interfaces, APIs, and workflows across multiple systems.
- Candidates should possess Project Management capabilities, such as planning, coordinating cross-functional teams, and monitoring delivery against timelines and quality standards.
- Experience in enterprise or solution architecture in consulting or complex business environments is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Background in computer science, engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications in architecture or project management (e.g., TOGAF, PMP) are an advantage.
- Proven ability to mentor team members, drive architectural governance, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and standards.
