Role Description The Senior Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Navi-Mumbai, responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of JYO SHOP LLP. This role includes maintaining accurate books of accounts, handling general ledger entries, and ensuring timely recording of all financial transactions.

The Senior

Accountant will prepare and review financial statements, oversee accounts payable and receivable, manage bank reconciliations, and monitor cash flow. Daily responsibilities also include supporting budgeting and forecasting, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations, and coordinating with external auditors as needed.



The role involves working closely with leadership to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and implement internal controls and process improvements.

Qualifications

- Strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and cash flow management in a small or medium-sized business environment.
- Knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, income tax regulations, and compliance requirements; experience coordinating audits is an advantage.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar), MS Excel, and basic financial analysis tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines in a rapid-paced, design-focused retail or fashion setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, or equivalent are preferred.
- Prior experience in a senior accounting or similar role, ideally within retail, fashion, or consumer products, is highly desirable.
