Role Description The Senior Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The individual in this role will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and maintenance of accurate financial records.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, monitoring project-based costs and budgets, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory regulations.

The Senior

Accountant will coordinate with project teams and management to provide financial analysis, assist in forecasting and cash flow planning, and support decision-making through timely reporting.



The role also involves implementing and improving accounting processes, supervising junior accounting staff, and working closely with external auditors and consultants when required.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
- Candidates should possess skills in budgeting, cost control, project accounting, and financial analysis, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in statutory compliance, tax planning and computation, and coordination for audits and regulatory filings.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software, spreadsheets, and ERP or financial management systems.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to interpret financial data for business decisions.
- Candidates should possess effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills to work with project teams and leadership.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA or equivalent) are an added advantage.
- Prior experience in a senior accounting role, ideally within construction, infrastructure, or related industries, and familiarity with Indian accounting standards and tax laws.
