About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in API testing, test automation frameworks, and behavior-driven development (BDD). You will work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

The role requires hands-on experience with Java-based automation frameworks, REST API testing, defect management, and Agile software development practices.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze business and functional requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and BDD frameworks.
Perform API testing and validation for REST-based services using Postman and automation tools.
Execute functional, integration, regression,



and end-to-end testing activities.
Identify, document, track, and verify software defects throughout the defect lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with developers and product owners to resolve issues and improve product quality.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Contribute to test automation framework enhancements and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain test execution reports, defect metrics, and quality dashboards.
Support CI/CD and source code management processes using Git.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory Skills
3–8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
Robust programming skills in Java.
Hands-on experience with Cucumber BDD framework.
Experience testing REST APIs using Postman.
Valuable understanding of API request/response validation, JSON, and HTTP
