Summary

As an EDR Manager, a typical day involves overseeing the management, implementation, and continuous improvement of Endpoint Detection and Response capabilities across the organization. This role requires leading a team of security professionals, managing enterprise-grade EDR tools including CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, and Google Chronicle, while ensuring seamless integration with SOAR platforms and SIEM solutions such as QRadar. The position demands strategic oversight of threat detection operations, incident response workflows, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen the organization's overall security posture

Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the EDR operations team, driving performance, accountability, and qualified growth across all team members.

Own end-to-end management of EDR platforms including CrowdStrike EDR and Microsoft Defender, ensuring optimal configuration, tuning, and availability.

Oversee integration and operations of QRadar SIEM for log correlation, threat detection, and security event monitoring across endpoints.

Manage and optimize SOAR workflows to automate incident response playbooks, reduce mean time to respond (MTTR), and streamline SOC operations.

Drive adoption and utilization of Google Chronicle for threat intelligence, retrospective analysis, and large-scale security telemetry management.

Administer and govern Cofense phishing simulation and email threat response programs, ensuring timely triage and analyst follow-through.

Collaborate with SOC, threat intelligence, and incident response teams to ensure cohesive and effective detection and response capabilities.

Define and enforce EDR policies, standards,



and procedures aligned with organizational security frameworks and compliance requirements.

Monitor EDR platform health, coverage metrics, and detection efficacy implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Engage with senior leadership and key stakeholders to report on EDR program performance, risks, and strategic roadmap.

Mentor and develop junior and mid-level security analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.

Lead vendor relationships and evaluations for EDR and adjacent security tooling, ensuring best-in-class capabilities are maintained.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must Have Skills: Hands-on expertise in Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) management, with deep proficiency in CrowdStrike EDR and Microsoft Defender.

Must Have Skills: Strong working knowledge of QRadar SIEM for event correlation, alert triage, and security monitoring.

Must Have Skills: Experience managing SOAR platforms for playbook development, automation, and incident orchestration.

Good To Have Skills: Hands-on experience with Google Chronicle for threat hunting and security analytics at scale.

Good To Have Skills: Familiarity with Cofense for phishing defense, simulation campaign management, and email threat response.

Strong understanding of endpoint security technologies, attack frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK;), and advanced threat detection methodologies.

Proven ability to lead security incident investigations, root cause analysis, and executive-level reporting.

Experience managing enterprise-scale deployment, integration, and lifecycle management of security tools.

Working knowledge of security compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and CIS Controls as they relate to endpoint protection.

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.





Additional Information

The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Endpoint Detection and Response or related cybersecurity domains, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or team lead capacity.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

A 15 years full-time education is required.
