We are hiring a Senior SDET for our client Arkestro to design, implement, and maintain automated testing solutions across frontend and backend systems for a SaaS engineering platform.

You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering teams to build regression automation, execute smoke and integration testing, improve automation coverage, and contribute to automation-first quality engineering initiatives embedded directly within development squads.

? Location: Remote, India

? Experience: 5+ years

? Timezone: Must be able to overlap 4–5 hours with U.S. East Coast working hours

- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
- 5+ years of experience in automated testing

- Strong SQL experience
- Experience with Ruby/Rails
- Strong engineering mindset and automation-first approach




- Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering
- Experience building agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate closely with Software Engineering teams throughout the SDLC
- Upper-intermediate English level
- Ability to work 4–5 hours overlapping with U.S. East Coast hours

? What You'll Do

- Build and maintain regression automation scripts
- Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance, and other testing activities
- Perform manual testing when required to validate application functionality
- Design and maintain automated testing solutions across frontend and backend systems
- Document feature behavior, testing outcomes, and pass/fail conditions
- Correlate test failures with defects and identify quality risks
- Escalate risks affecting product quality and engineering processes
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams throughout the SDLC and release cycles
- Contribute to automation-first Quality Engineering initiatives
- Continuously improve testing frameworks, automation coverage, and release reliability
