Job Summary:

We have an opportunity for SDET with 4 years of experience at Engro Technologies Limited to work and ensure product Quality. As a part of QE team, you will be responsible for implementation and execution of testing to verify the functional and non-functional capability of the system.

Primary Accountabilities:

· Strong experience in functional validation of RESTful APIs, ensuring correctness, reliability, and contract compliance across microservices.

· Hands-on expertise in automation of distributed microservices using TestNG-based frameworks, enabling early defect detection and continuous validation.

· Understanding of software quality best practices, test strategy and planning, test case development, test case execution, deployment and, test data, defect tracking, and test automation.

· Evaluate and select best usage of test automation tools for different purposes

· Collaborate with product teams to understand business requirements and develop test scenarios/cases.

· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities.

Key Performance Indicators:

· Identifying critical issues before application is released to production

· Establishing Critical Success factor to improvise the best practices on Automation





· Build effective Automation suites enabling faster QE cycles.

· Manage, resolve technical issues related to automation, streamline process, and improve efficiency as per industry standards.

. Create testing metrics sheet, help team leads to estimate the effectiveness of their test approach.

Work Experience:

· Proficiency in debugging tool and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Charles, Fiddler.

· Proficient in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL (MongoDb) environments

· Valuable knowledge API and Services testing (RestAssured, Karate, SOAP UI, Postman, or similar tools)

· Good understanding of Android Architecture, iOS Architecture and their components.

· Experience of working on GCP cloud and SaaS based environments.

· Experienced with Agile/DevOps delivery principles and quality assurance methodologies

· Specialized in analyzing business requirements and converting those into automation test scenarios and test cases

· Knowledge of bash scripting is a plus.

· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships across all levels in organization

· Familiarity with remote execution tools like Sauce Labs, BrowserStack, pcloudy, Selenium Grid, etc.

· Must have commanding knowledge on Maven/Gradle/Ant/TestNG

· Should have sound knowledge on CICD tools (Bamboo/Jenkins/Bitrise)

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills Thrive in self-motivated internal innovation driven environment.

Education Qualifications:

Essential

BE/ BTech in any specialization

BSc/ BCA/ MCA in Computer Science/ Information Technology

Good to have ISTQB level 1 or level 2
