Project Role : Scrum Master

Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

Summary

In the role of Scrum Master, a typical day involves enabling the smooth operation of a software development team by fostering an environment that supports Agile practices. This includes guiding the team through various Agile ceremonies, ensuring that obstacles are promptly addressed, and maintaining a steady focus on project goals.

The Scrum

Master actively facilitates communication and collaboration within the team and across stakeholders, while continuously monitoring progress and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.




- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration.
- Coach and mentor team members to enhance their Agile capabilities and promote self-organization.
- Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team s progress to maintain momentum and productivity.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by gathering feedback and implementing best practices within the team.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
- Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing sprint cycles.
- Ability to use metrics and reporting tools to track team progress and project health.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration among diverse teams.
- Skilled in conflict resolution and problem-solving to support team dynamics.

Additional Information
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
