Role Description: The Science Communicator will be responsible for translating complex STEM concepts into clear, engaging content suitable for teenagers, including articles, explainers, and educational features. Day-to-day work includes researching scientific topics, interviewing experts, structuring content for different sections of the magazine, and collaborating with editors and designers to deliver accurate and appealing stories. The role also involves contributing ideas for current series, ensuring age-appropriate language and tone,



and aligning content with ENTECH’s educational and career guidance objectives.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division, requiring regular coordination with the editorial team and participation in planning meetings.

Qualifications

- Strong science communication skills, with the ability to explain STEM topics clearly to a teenage audience.
- Proficiency in research, fact-checking, and sourcing reliable scientific and technological information.
- Experience in writing and editing educational or popular science content for print or digital media.
- Ability to collaborate with editorial, design, and subject-matter experts to develop structured, engaging content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
- Background in Science, Engineering, Technology, Mathematics, Science Education, or related fields (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred).
- Demonstrated interest in STEM outreach, youth education, or science journalism.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced editorial environment.
- Comfort working on-site in Pune Division and participating in regular team meetings and planning sessions.
