Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Sales Officer role based in Srinagar.

The Sales

Officer will focus on promoting and selling animal feed supplement products to poultry and ruminant customers in the region.

Responsibilities include identifying and nurturing leads, managing customer relationships, handling channel sales partners, and executing daily sales operations such as order follow-up and reporting. The role involves regular visits to farms, distributors, and retailers to provide product information and support, and to gather market insights to help refine sales strategies.

Officer will collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, customer satisfaction, and achievement of sales targets.

Qualifications

- Robust Customer Service and Communication skills to build trust, respond to queries, and maintain long-term relationships.
- Proven ability in Lead Generation and Sales Operations to identify prospects, manage pipelines, and convert opportunities into sales.
- Experience in Channel Sales to effectively work with distributors, retailers, and other partners in the livestock and agro sector.
- Knowledge of animal feed supplements or agricultural products, with the ability to understand farmers’ and livestock owners’ needs.
- Goal-oriented mindset with basic proficiency in sales reporting, MS Office, and CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently in the field, including frequent local travel in and around Srinagar.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in agriculture, veterinary science, business, or a related field is an advantage.
- Prior sales experience in agro, livestock, or related industries is preferred, but motivated early-career candidates will be considered.
