Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Oracle DBA with 3+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration. Should have hands-on experience in database installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup & recovery, and database monitoring. The candidate should also have a valuable understanding of database security and high availability.

Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle databases.
Monitor database health, performance, and availability.
Perform database backup and recovery using RMAN.
Troubleshoot database issues and optimize performance.
Manage database users, roles, and security.
Apply database patches and perform version upgrades.
Monitor database storage, tablespaces, and capacity.
Work closely with application and infrastructure teams to resolve database-related issues.
Ensure database availability, reliability, and disaster recovery readiness.




Prepare and maintain database documentation.

Required Skills
3+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
Robust experience with Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c.
Hands-on experience with RMAN Backup & Recovery.
Knowledge of Oracle RAC and Data Guard.
Experience in Performance Tuning and query optimization.
Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
Experience with database patching, upgrades, and migrations.
Good understanding of database security and user management.
Experience working on Linux/Unix settings.
Knowledge of shell scripting is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Oracle Database Certification is a plus.
Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
