Location: Plant Location (Vitthlapur / Jalisana – as applicable)
Experience: 3–6 Years (adjustable) Key Responsibilities Ensure quality control activities in the Press Shop for sheet metal components. Monitor incoming material, inprocess, and final inspection of pressformed parts. Ensure adherence to drawing specifications, control plans, and SOPs. Handle defect analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA). Support PPAP documentation, sample approvals, and layout inspections. Coordinate with Production, Tool Room, and Maintenance teams to address quality issues. Monitor press operations, die conditions, and process capability. Reduce rejections, rework, and scrap through continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and rejection analysis data.



Participate in internal audits and customer audits as required. Ensure compliance with ISO / IATF quality standards. Train shopfloor operators on quality standards and inspection methods. Promote 5S, safety, and quality awareness on the shopfloor. Required Skills & Qualifications Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical / Production Engineering 3–6 years of experience in Press Shop Quality within Auto Component Manufacturing Solid knowledge of sheet metal press processes and defects Handson experience with inspection instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Profile Projector, etc.) Understanding of quality tools (7 QC tools, RCA, CAPA) Working knowledge of PPAP, control plans, SOPs Positive communication, coordination, and problemsolving skills Ability to handle shopfloor quality challenges independently Preferred Experience Auto OEM / Tier1 / Tier2 supplier background Exposure to IATF 16949, ISO systems Experience in highvolume press shop operations
