Job DescriptionLocation: ChennaiExperience: 4–5 YearsEmployment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleStartup Singam is looking for an Investment Banking skilled to join our growing investment ecosystem.The role will focus on executing fundraising mandates and building strong relationships with Family Offices, HNIs, VCs, PE funds and other institutional investors.Key Responsibilities
Manage fundraising and investment banking mandates end-to-end
Evaluate businesses, financials and fundraising requirements
Prepare financial models, valuations, pitch decks, teasers and Information Memorandums
Develop transaction and fundraising strategies
Map and approach relevant investors for each mandate
Manage investor discussions and founder interactions
Coordinate due diligence, term sheets and transaction processes
Support negotiations and drive deals towards closure
Build and manage relationships with Family Offices and Multi-Family Offices
Develop relationships with HNIs, VCs, PE funds and institutional investors
Understand investor thesis, sector preferences and ticket sizes




Build and maintain a solid investor and deal pipelineWhat We're Looking For
4–5 years of experience in Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory, M&A;, PE/VC Advisory or Boutique Investment Banking
Hands-on experience executing fundraising or transaction mandates is mandatory
Solid financial modelling and valuation skills
Experience working directly with founders, CXOs and investors
Good understanding of startup and growth-stage fundraising
Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Existing Family Office / HNI / VC relationships will be an advantageImportantThis is a deal execution role, not purely an investor relations or startup ecosystem role.We are specifically looking for candidates who have worked on live mandates and understand the complete transaction lifecycle from origination and preparation through investor outreach, due diligence and closure.If you have the experience and want to work at the intersection of startups, capital and Family Offices, we'd like to hear from you.
