Position: Engineer - Product Development
Experience: 5+ Years
Qualification: Post Diploma in Plastic Moulding & Technology (CIPET), /B.E./B.Tech in Plastic Engineering / Polymer Technology/Mechanical Engineering
Location: Chennai
Salary: 7 to 8 Lacs Key Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed costing for complete recent products, including raw materials, tooling, manufacturing, assembly, decoration, packaging, and overhead costs.
• Drive end-to-end recent product development (NPD) activities from concept to production.
• Coordinate and execute recent product introduction (NPI) and project implementation within planned timelines.
• Work closely with design, tooling, production, quality, sourcing,



and procurement teams to ensure successful product launches.
• Evaluate product feasibility, manufacturability, and cost optimization opportunities.
• Support prototype development, product validation, and production trials.
• Monitor project milestones and ensure timely completion of development activities.
• Analyze product costs and recommend value engineering initiatives to improve profitability.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and customer specifications throughout the development process.
