NICU Nurse – Job Description

Position: NICU Nurse

Department: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Experience: 1–5 years preferred

Qualification: GNM / B.Sc Nursing

Registration: Valid State Nursing Council registration required

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to neonates in the NICU.

Monitor vital signs, oxygen saturation, temperature, feeding and overall condition.

Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed by the doctor.

Handle incubators, radiant warmers, ventilators, CPAP and other NICU equipment.

Assist doctors during procedures and emergencies.

Maintain accurate nursing records and patient documentation.

Follow infection-control and aseptic protocols.

Monitor premature and critically ill newborns closely.





Communicate with doctors and parents regarding the baby's condition and care.

Ensure proper handover during shift changes.

Skills Required:

Positive knowledge of neonatal care.

Experience with ventilator/CPAP management preferred.

Ability to handle emergency situations.

Positive communication and teamwork.

Compassionate and attentive approach toward newborns and parents.

Shift: Rotational shifts

Salary: As per experience and hospital standards

Location: Budaun,UP

Joining: Immediate

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
