Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled VTL Operator with 2 years of experience in machining components. The candidate should be able to operate Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) machines, read engineering drawings, and produce quality components as per specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Operate VTL machines safely and efficiently.
Load and unload raw materials and finished components.
Read and understand engineering drawings and process sheets.
Set tools, measure dimensions, and ensure machining accuracy.
Perform in-process inspection using Vernier, Micrometer, and Bore Gauge.
Monitor machine performance and report any abnormalities to the supervisor.
Maintain production targets while ensuring quality standards.
Follow 5S, safety procedures, and company policies.
Maintain daily production and machine records.
Requirements
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a VTL Operator.
Knowledge of engineering drawings and measuring instruments.
Basic knowledge of cutting tools and machining parameters.
Ability to work in rotational shifts.
