Key Responsibilities
Conduct nutritional assessments for patients.
Develop individualized diet plans based on medical conditions and nutritional requirements.
Counsel patients and caregivers on healthy eating habits and therapeutic diets.
Monitor patients' nutritional progress and modify diet plans as required.
Recommend therapeutic diets for conditions such as diabetes, renal disease, hypertension, obesity, liver disorders, neurological disorders, and rehabilitation patients.
Coordinate with physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, and other healthcare specialists regarding patient care.
Supervise meal preparation and ensure therapeutic diets are prepared accurately.
Ensure food safety, hygiene, and quality standards in the dietary department.
Educate patients, families, and staff on nutrition-related topics.
Maintain accurate patient records, diet charts, and nutritional documentation.
Monitor nutritional supplements and recommend appropriate dietary interventions.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics / Clinical Nutrition.
