Store Incharge – Job Description

A Store Incharge is responsible for managing the hotel/restaurant store, including receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking all materials and inventory.

Main responsibilities:
Receive goods from suppliers and verify quantity, quality, and invoices.
Maintain accurate stock records for all grocery, FMCG, vegetables, beverages, packaging materials, etc.
Issue materials to kitchen and other departments based on approved requirements.
Monitor stock levels and prepare purchase/reorder requirements.
Conduct daily/weekly/monthly stock verification.
Identify shortages, excess stock, damaged goods, and expired items.
Follow FIFO/FEFO methods to reduce wastage.
Maintain proper storage, cleanliness, and organization of the store.




Record all inward and outward stock movements.
Coordinate with purchase, accounts, kitchen, and management.
Prepare inventory reports and stock statements.
Control unauthorized issues and minimize stock losses.
Ensure proper documentation for every receipt and issue.

Key skills: Inventory management, Excel/computer skills, stock counting, documentation, supplier coordination, attention to detail, and basic accounting knowledge.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
