Pharmacist Job Description

A Pharmacist is a licensed healthcare qualified responsible for preparing, dispensing, and managing medications while ensuring safe and effective use of pharmaceutical products. Key Responsibilities

Review and dispense prescriptions accurately and safely. Provide medication counseling and educate patients on proper usage and potential side effects.

Maintain patient medication records and ensure confidentiality. Monitor drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications.

Manage inventory, storage, and ordering of pharmaceutical products. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and skilled standards.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff when required. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree (B.Pharm, Pharm.D, or equivalent).



Valid pharmacist license or registration as required by local regulations.

Knowledge of pharmacology, pharmaceutical calculations, and medication safety. Skills and Competencies Solid attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

Customer service orientation and empathy. Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and basic computer applications. Work Workplace

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
