Role: Production Manager – Foundry Operations

We are seeking a results-driven Production Manager to oversee our foundry operations. The ideal candidate will ensure production targets are achieved on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining a secure and compliant working environment.

Key Responsibilities
Production Management:

Oversee daily operations across melting, molding, core making, and fettling departments to ensure smooth production flow.
Production Efficiency:

Drive continuous improvement by optimizing scheduling, manpower utilization, and resource allocation to minimize downtime and increase productivity.
Quality Control:

Ensure all castings meet customer specifications and internal quality standards. Implement corrective actions for defects and process deviations.
Maintenance Management:

Ensure all machinery and equipment are maintained in optimal working condition through preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
Safety & Compliance:

Enforce strict adherence to PPE usage, environmental regulations,



and workplace safety protocols to maintain a zero-incident culture.
Team Leadership:

Lead, train, and mentor shop floor teams to enhance productivity, discipline, and morale.
Process Excellence:

Establish, implement, and sustain robust production processes. Drive a strong culture of process-oriented operations and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements
Experience:

Minimum 10+ years of experience in a Grey & SG Iron Foundry, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
Technical Expertise:

Solid knowledge of induction melting processes, metallurgy, sand molding, casting techniques, and defect analysis.
Process Orientation:

Proven experience in designing, implementing, and sustaining production processes within a structured workplace.
Education:

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Production Engineering.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
