Calcutta International School is seeking a passionate and agile Science Teacher for the Junior School (Grades 1–5) to foster curiosity, scientific thinking, and experiential learning among young learners through engaging and learner-centric teaching practices.
Eligibility:
Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Science with B.Ed./D.El.Ed.
Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in primary/junior school
Robust communication and classroom management skills
Cambridge or international curriculum experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons for Grades 1–5
Create interactive and activity-based learning experiences
Assess and monitor student progress and learning outcomes
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and collaborative classroom workplace
Work closely with colleagues and parents to support student development
Participate actively in school events, planning, and academic initiatives
