We are looking for an Application Specialist to own and support critical production applications. This is more than a traditional L3 Support role, involving application ownership, troubleshooting complex production issues, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage and support business-critical applications in a production workplace.
Investigate and resolve production incidents, perform RCA, and implement permanent fixes.
Drive automation and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Monitor application health, performance, and stability.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams on releases and firm-wide projects.
Participate in on-call support and incident management.
- Java: Robust understanding of Core Java, OOP concepts, Collections, Exception Handling,



and basic coding skills.
SQL: Hands-on experience with Joins, Aggregate Functions, Subqueries, Group By, and Indexing basics.
Linux: Knowledge of commands such as grep, find, ps, chmod, tail, and basic shell scripting.
Experience in Production/Application Support, Incident Management, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, or ELK.
Automation using Shell/Python/Java.
Exposure to Microservices, REST APIs, and Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Robust analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ownership mindset with a focus on operational excellence.
Passion for automation and continuous improvement.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Java coding is mandate
