Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Purchase Manager to support procurement activities, vendor management, purchase planning, cost negotiation, and timely availability of materials.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities.
Source and evaluate new vendors and suppliers.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms.
Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements.
Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of materials.
Monitor purchase orders, pending orders, and delivery status.
Maintain vendor records, quotations, comparative statements, and purchase documentation.
Coordinate with stores, accounts, operations, and other departments for material requirements.
Ensure procurement is done at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards.




Track inventory and support purchase planning based on business requirements.
Resolve vendor-related issues regarding quality, quantity, pricing, and delivery.
Maintain purchase MIS and prepare regular procurement reports.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and approval processes.

Required Skills
Solid negotiation and vendor management skills.
Positive knowledge of procurement and purchase processes.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Analytical and problem-solving ability.
Ability to manage multiple vendors and purchase requirements.
Robust follow-up and documentation skills.

Qualification

Graduate / MBA / PG Diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, or a related field.

Preferred Experience

2–5 years of experience in Purchase, Procurement, Vendor Management, or Supply Chain.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
