Job role: Transportation – Bidding and Sourcing

Location: Guindy

Responsibilities
Develop and manage the end-to-end transportation bidding and sourcing processes.
Identify, evaluate, and select vendors based on performance, cost, and compliance criteria.
Conduct market research to stay updated on vendor trends and transportation costs.
Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements with transportation providers.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand transportation requirements and align sourcing strategies accordingly.
Monitor vendor performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards in all sourcing activities.
Maintain accurate records of bids, contracts, and vendor communications for audit and reporting purposes.

Requirements




Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in transportation bidding, sourcing, or vendor management in Logistics & Supply chain.
Solid knowledge of the transportation vendor market and industry best practices.
Proven ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and secure favorable terms.
Excellent analytical skills to evaluate bids and assess vendor capabilities.
Familiarity with warehousing operations and transportation logistics.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and external partners.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
