Eligibility
Physically fit to perform electrical work.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems and safety practices.
Willingness to work in office, including shifts if required.
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and instructions.
Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
Qualification
ITI in Electrician Trade (preferred).
Diploma in Electrical Engineering (preferred for higher-level roles).
Valid Electrical License (if required by local regulations).
1–3 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance (freshers may apply for trainee positions).
Knowledge of electrical wiring, panels, motors, transformers, and electrical equipment.
Familiarity with electrical safety standards and regulations.
Roles and Responsibilities of an Electrician
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment.
Inspect electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, and control panels.
Diagnose electrical faults and troubleshoot problems efficiently.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.
Install lighting systems, switches, sockets, and electrical fixtures.
Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations and electrical codes.
Test electrical systems using measuring instruments such as multimeters and insulation testers.
Replace damaged cables, switches, fuses, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Coordinate with supervisors and other technicians during installation and maintenance activities.
Follow workplace safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Respond quickly to electrical breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Maintain housekeeping and ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition.
