PRT Tamil Teacher

Job Summary
Bharathidhasanar Group of Schools is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic PRT Tamil Teacher to teach primary school students and develop their Tamil language skills through engaging and activity-based learning.

Key Responsibilities
Teach Tamil for primary classes as per the prescribed curriculum.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, activities, and assessments.
Develop students' skills in reading, writing, speaking, and basic grammar.
Teach Tamil literature, stories, poems, rhymes, and vocabulary in an engaging manner.
Conduct regular assessments and monitor student progress.
Provide additional support to students who require academic assistance.
Use storytelling, activities, games, smart classrooms, and digital resources to make learning effective.
Encourage students to develop good handwriting, pronunciation, vocabulary, and communication skills.
Maintain attendance, marks, lesson records, and student progress reports.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, school events, and cultural activities.
Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, child-friendly learning environment.





Eligibility & Skills
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Tamil or relevant subject.
B.Ed. is mandatory.
Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience preferred.
Strong command of Tamil language, grammar, and literature.
Positive communication and classroom-management skills.
Passion for teaching young learners.
Ability to use creative and activity-based teaching methods.
Basic knowledge of digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology.
Preference will be given to Tamil Nadu candidates.
