Job Summary

Java Backend developer Job Description: Candidate should have deep expertise in the Java ecosystem, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and modern Generative AI integrations. In this role, he/she will build and optimize scalable backend services, working extensively with RESTful APIs, Backend RPCs, and specialized Google frameworks (such as Boq). He/she will play a pivotal role in optimizing code, managing robust database scripts, and integrating cutting-edge Gen AI models via Vertex AI to drive business value in a rapid-paced Agile setting. Key Responsibilities: Backend & API Development: Design, build, and maintain robust backend RPCs (CRUD operations) and RESTful services using Java 8, Spring Boot, and Google’s Boq framework. Security Implementation: Architect and implement secure authentication and authorization protocols across various applications. Database & Scripting: Write, maintain, and heavily optimize complex SQL queries, PL/SQL scripts, and batch scripts to ensure maximum system performance. Cloud & Data Engineering:



Leverage GCP infrastructure—specifically Cloud Spanner and BigQuery—to build highly scalable data solutions. AI Integration: Seamlessly integrate Generative AI base models (utilizing Google Vertex AI) into backend Java architectures to enhance application capabilities. Quality Assurance & CI/CD: Write comprehensive unit tests using JUnit, conduct rigorous code reviews, and manage CI/CD pipelines (including Google-specific deployment settings) to ensure flawless delivery. Frontend Basics: Basic working knowledge of HTML and CSS for cross-functional collaboration. Experience Level: 6+ Years of relevant experience
