Job Title: Hostel Warden – JPS Sonarpur

Location: Sonarpur, Kolkata, West Bengal

Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹15,000 per month

About Us
JPS Sonarpur, part of the Jyotirmoy Education & Welfare Foundation (JEWF) group of institutions, is looking for a responsible and caring Hostel Warden to oversee the daily operations of our student hostel and ensure a safe, disciplined, and supportive living workplace for students.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day hostel operations and ensure student safety and welfare
Maintain discipline, attendance, and daily routines among hostel residents
Coordinate with parents/guardians regarding student well-being as needed
Oversee cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of hostel premises
Manage mess/meal schedules and coordinate with hostel staff
Handle emergencies and medical situations promptly, escalating as required
Maintain hostel records, registers, and reports




Ensure compliance with hostel rules and institutional policies (including child safety/POCSO guidelines)

Requirements
Minimum qualification: Graduate (preferred); candidates with relevant experience may also be considered
Prior experience in hostel management, warden duties, or a similar caregiving/supervisory role preferred
Patient, responsible, and disciplined individual with positive communication skills
Willingness to reside on/near campus as required
Basic administrative and record-keeping skills

Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹15,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications)
