Senior Design Engineer – Impregnation Line

Location: Pune, Maharashtra
Experience: 5–10 Years
Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop complete Impregnation Lines for decorative laminate manufacturing.
Prepare 2D/3D models, manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Design resin impregnation systems, drying ovens, web handling systems, unwind/rewind units, and auxiliary equipment.
Perform engineering calculations and optimize machine designs for performance, manufacturability, and cost.
Collaborate with Sales, Production, Electrical & Controls, Procurement, and Quality teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Support manufacturing, assembly, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
Maintain engineering documentation, BOMs, ERP data, and drawing revisions.
Ensure timely project execution while adhering to quality standards.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
5–10 years of experience in designing Impregnation Lines, Web Handling Systems, Continuous Process Machinery, or Heavy Industrial Equipment.




Robust understanding of paper impregnation processes, resin handling systems, drying technology, and material handling equipment.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solid Edge/SolidWorks.
Positive knowledge of fabrication, machining, manufacturing processes, and engineering standards.
Solid analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
