Dispense medicines and medical supplies accurately as per authorized prescriptions.
Verify prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, allergies, and potential contraindications.
Provide appropriate medication-related guidance to patients and healthcare staff.
Maintain accurate records of medicines issued, received, and returned.
Monitor pharmacy stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of medicines.
Check expiry dates, batch numbers, storage conditions, and proper labeling of medicines.
Maintain proper storage and handling of temperature-sensitive and controlled medicines.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, purchase, stores, and other departments regarding medication requirements.
Follow hospital pharmacy SOPs, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
Support audits, inspections, stock verification, and inventory reconciliation.
Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper documentation within the pharmacy.
Report medication errors, discrepancies, damaged stock, and adverse drug-related incidents to the concerned authority.
