Associate / Contract Worker – Master Data Management

Role Overview

We are looking for an Associate / Contract Worker – Master Data Management to support the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of master data across the organization. The role will focus on Material, Production, and Quality Master Data within SAP environments.

The position will be responsible for data creation, maintenance, validation, cleansing, and enrichment while collaborating with business, IT, and operations teams to resolve data-related issues. The role will also contribute to data governance, process improvement, compliance, and transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform hands-on creation, maintenance, and validation of Material, Production, and Quality Master Data in SAP / S4HANA environments.
- Ensure master data is accurate, complete, consistent, and maintained across relevant SAP views.
- Manage and validate Quality Master Data, including:
- Quality Inspection Plans
- Master Inspection Characteristics (MICs)
- Reference Operation Sets (ROs)
- Execute data cleansing, correction, validation, and enrichment activities as part of ongoing operations and transformation initiatives.
- Identify data inconsistencies and work with relevant stakeholders to resolve master-data issues.
- Support master-data governance processes and contribute to maintaining data quality standards.
- Collaborate with business, IT, quality, production, and operations teams to ensure data requirements are accurately understood and implemented.
- Support process optimization initiatives to improve master-data workflows, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Assist with data migration, integration, and other master-data transformation initiatives.
- Analyze datasets and provide insights to support data-quality and process-improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across all master-data activities.

Basic Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in STEM or a related discipline.




- 2–3 years of relevant experience in SAP, Master Data Management, Data Governance, or Data Operations.
- Hands-on experience working with SAP ECC; exposure to S/4HANA is an advantage.
- Experience with Quality Master Data, preferably including Inspection Plans, MICs, and Reference Operation Sets.
- Robust working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite.
- Experience working with large datasets and performing data validation, reconciliation, cleansing, and analysis.
- Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech, manufacturing, or supply-chain environments is preferred.

Must-Have Skills
- Working knowledge of SAP.
- Hands-on experience with Quality Master Data.
- Knowledge of Quality Inspection Plans.
- Knowledge of Master Inspection Characteristics (MICs).
- Knowledge of Reference Operation Sets (ROs).
- Understanding of Master Data Management processes, governance, and data-quality principles.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Exposure to SAP MDG.
- Experience with data migration or integration projects.
- Experience in regulated or highly governed manufacturing environments.
- Exposure to process optimization and master-data transformation initiatives.
