Robotics Engineer

Education: B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech/Diploma in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering field. Candidates with a strong and relevant robotics project portfolio may also be considered.
About the Role
Architech Labs is looking for a Robotics Engineer to develop, integrate, and test physical robotic systems as we expand into intelligent machines and autonomous systems.
This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on development, system integration, hardware testing, and solving real-world robotics challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop robotics applications using C++ and Python.
- Design and integrate ROS 2 nodes, packages, and system architecture.
- Integrate motors, motor controllers, encoders, IMUs, LiDAR, cameras, and other sensors.
- Develop and tune motion-control and feedback-control systems.
- Work on localization, navigation, path planning, and perception based on product requirements.
- Interface robotics software with embedded controllers using CAN, RS485, serial, Ethernet, and other communication protocols.
- Test, troubleshoot, and debug robotic systems on physical hardware, not only in simulation.
- Develop and execute tests for system reliability, repeatability, performance, and safety.
- Collaborate with embedded, electronics, mechanical, and automation engineers throughout product development.
Required Skills
- Solid programming skills in C++ and Python.
- Hands-on experience building or integrating robotic systems.
- Practical experience with ROS 2.
- Strong understanding of sensors, actuators, motors, and control systems.
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting physical robotic hardware.
- Strong problem-solving and system integration skills.
- At least one demonstrable robotics or mechatronics project.
