Job Overview:

Responsible for creating and reviewing 3D models, detailed drawings, and design documents for transmission line fittings and related engineering components. Should have robust expertise in Autodesk Inventor.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor
Support product design, reverse engineering, and prototype development.
Ensure design accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with engineering standards.
Review existing designs and implement improvements for performance and cost optimization.
Coordinate with production, quality, and R&D; teams for design clarifications and technical support.
Create BOMs, material specifications, and design documentation.




Provide technical support during customer discussions and internal reviews.
Assist in design validation, testing support, and change management.

Required Skills & Competencies:
- Solid hands-on expertise in Autodesk Inventor.
Valuable understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC, machining, forging, fabrication).
Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and engineering standards.
Ability to interpret customer specifications and convert them into design outputs.
Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Education & Experience:
- B.E / B.Tech – Mechanical or related discipline.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering industry.
