Job Description:
Sub-edit copy and revise headlines, standfirsts, and page furniture to the highest standard ,with immaculate written English and a sharp editorial eye.
Edit succinctly and sensitively, maintaining tone and clarity across formats.
Work with multimedia elements, including pictures, charts, video, and graphics- for web and app platforms; confidence with digital tools is key.
Support the production head and deputies in curating, designing, and publishing content across platforms (including PDFs, emails, and podcasts).
Collaborate with production colleagues to deliver articles efficiently, meeting tight deadlines in a frenetic workplace. Prior experience in print is a plus.
Apply a robust understanding of editorial compliance and regulatory issues, including legal risk, copyright, embargoes, and journalistic privilege.
Ensure all content adheres to editorial standards, brand guidelines, and legal requirements.

Candidate Requirement:
6+ years of experience with exceptional English language skills, with several years experience in a fast-paced, news-driven editorial setting; ideally at a national newspaper, magazine, or digital publisher.
