About the RoleD’Art Design is looking for a Retail Architect with 2–3 years of experience to join our design team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of retail design, technical drawings, detailing and execution, along with excellent communication and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop retail design concepts, layouts and technical drawings.
- Prepare detailed working drawings, elevations, sections and construction details.
- Coordinate with internal design, project and production teams.
- Understand client requirements and translate them into practical design solutions.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors and site teams for design execution.
- Review drawings and ensure accuracy as per project requirements.
- Support material selection, detailing and design development.
- Conduct site visits and resolve design-related execution issues.
- Ensure timely delivery of drawings and project deliverables.
Required Skills
- 2–3 years of experience in Retail Architecture / Interior Design / Retail Design.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp, Revit or other design tools will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of materials, joinery, fixtures and retail detailing.
- Ability to read and prepare technical drawings.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Good coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work within deadlines.
