Job Details

What you will do:
Responsible for the development of existing and new products or systems, using a variety of programming methods including C# .Net to meet specifications and functional requirements
Work with stakeholders on all aspect of the software development cycle (Requirements/Scope definition, Development, Quality Assurance, User Acceptance Testing, Implementation and Support)
Contribute to the architectural direction of the products and systems
Improve application performance and quality
Estimate development tasks and deliver projects on schedule
Develop auxiliary programs and services to connect applications
Responsible for technical documentation

Experience:
Ecommerce Platform with High Traffic
.Net (VB / C#) Development, MVC, Visual Studio, MS SQL Server Database, Triggers, Stored Procedures
Front End Development nice to have: HTML, CSS, Javascript
API Integration, .Net Web Services (WCF, and ASMX)
Version Control: Github, BitBucket, TFS




Knowledge of optimized web server configurations (IIS) and scaling applications (AWS, Azure)
Agile methodologies such as Scrum with focus on Continuous Integration and Deployment
Good understanding of data architecture concepts
Software documentation (Confluence)
Project Management (Jira)
Excellent communication skills, attention to details and robust problem solving skills
Knowledge on Azure services like Service Bus and App service
Solid experience with microservices architectures, including service decomposition, inter service communication, event driven patterns, and distributed systems design

Plus:
Experience with other scripting and programming languages (PHP, Java, C, Python, etc) a plus
Business Intelligence a plus (Power BI, Domo, Tableau), Microsoft BI Stack (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)

Education:
B.S in Computer Engineering or Equivalent work experience
Minimum 8 years of .Net experience
