We're looking for a mid-level Takeoff Estimator – Multi-Trade to join our operations team and help deliver accurate, high-quality blueprint quantification services to our US-based clients.

What You'll Do

- Review architectural, civil, landscape, MEP, and construction drawings across multiple trades.
- Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) from blueprint drawings.
- Quantify areas, lengths, counts, and volumes with a high degree of accuracy.
- Interpret project specifications and identify measurement requirements across trade types.
- Prepare clean, organized quantity reports for customers within turnaround timelines.
- Collaborate with our product team to improve Ottermap's AI-enabled blueprint takeoff platform.

- Requirements

- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in blueprint takeoffs, quantity surveying, estimation, or BOQ preparation.




- Demonstrated experience working on US construction projects and familiarity with US standards and measurement practices.
- Ability to work confidently across multiple trades — not just one.
- Robust blueprint interpretation and analytical skills.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Experience using industry-standard tools such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, STACK, On-Screen Takeoff, AutoCAD, or similar.

Preferred

Hands-on exposure across the following trades:

- HVAC
- Landscaping
- Earthworks / Site Development
- Roofing
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Civil / Concrete
- Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering background is preferred.
