Role Description This is a full time, on-site Quantity Surveyor Cost Estimator role based in Mumbai. The role involves preparing detailed cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for architectural and interior design projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and alignment with design intent. Daily responsibilities include monitoring project costs, updating cost plans, tracking variations, and preparing periodic cost reports for internal stakeholders and clients.

The Quantity Surveyor Cost

Estimator will collaborate closely with design, procurement, and project management teams to support cost-effective decision-making and maintain financial control throughout the project lifecycle. The role also requires reviewing contractor quotations,



supporting tender evaluations, and contributing to value engineering exercises.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in cost planning and cost management to develop and maintain accurate project budgets.
- Candidates should possess expertise in BOQ preparation and cost estimation to produce detailed and reliable quantities and pricing.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in cost control and cost reporting to monitor expenditure and provide timely financial updates.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with construction and interior fit-out materials, methods, and market rates.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Candidates should possess the ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings and specifications.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with design, procurement, and project teams.
- A relevant degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with cost estimation software and MS Excel, and previous experience in luxury or high-end projects, will be an advantage.
