Ultimate Alloys Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an energetic and quality-focused Junior Engineer – Quality to join our Foundry & Machine Shop Quality Team.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform stage-wise and final inspection of steel castings and machined components.
- Carry out visual and dimensional inspection as per drawings, specifications, ITP and quality plans.
- Inspect raw castings, proof-machined components and finished machined parts.
- Verify critical dimensions, machining allowances, tolerances and GD&T; requirements.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Depth Gauge and other inspection gauges.
- Coordinate with Foundry Production, Fettling, NDT and Machine Shop teams for inspection and clearance.
- Verify material identification and maintain proper heat number / component traceability throughout production.
- Prepare and maintain dimensional reports, inspection records, check sheets and quality documentation.
- Identify non-conformities and support NCR, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Monitor machining stages to prevent dimensional deviations, rework and rejection.
- Support NDT activities such as PT/DP, MPI, UT and RT and maintain relevant inspection records.
- Support customer / TPI inspection and witness activities as per approved ITP.




- Ensure all measuring and inspection instruments are within valid calibration status.
- Assist in final documentation and component release before dispatch.
- Follow applicable QMS procedures, safety requirements and 5S practices.

- Candidate Profile ? Qualification: Diploma / BE – Mechanical / Production / Metallurgy Engineering

⏳ Experience: 0–3 years in Foundry / Machine Shop / Engineering Quality.

Freshers with strong technical knowledge and interest in Quality Engineering are also encouraged to apply.

Preferred Skills

⭐ Basic knowledge of steel casting and machining processes

⭐ Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and GD&T;

⭐ Knowledge of dimensional measuring instruments

⭐ Basic understanding of NDT methods – PT, MPI, UT & RT

⭐ Knowledge of NCR, RCA, CAPA and inspection documentation

⭐ Positive communication, documentation and problem-solving skills

⭐ Willingness to work actively on the shop floor across Foundry & Machine Shop operations
