This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Quality Engineer II based in India.
This is an opportunity for a Quality Engineer to provide technical support across manufacturing and quality operations in a global, remote environment.
You will help strengthen quality systems, improve processes, and address issues affecting customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
The role combines quality assurance, corrective and preventive action, documentation, supplier collaboration, and data-driven defect analysis.
You will work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders to drive sustainable improvements.
Your contributions will directly support product quality, process reliability, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain quality assurance plans and process routings that accurately reflect intended and actual manufacturing activities.
- Support quoting and new business activities by contributing to initial process design, development, and implementation.
- Evaluate and improve inspection processes through appropriate inspection aids, guidelines, and work instructions.
- Develop and deliver specialized training sessions to support quality-related programs and ensure relevant teams understand applicable processes.
- Periodically review, maintain, and organize quality documentation, ensuring effective systems for document storage and accessibility.
- Investigate supplier and customer quality discrepancies and coordinate, track, and support corrective and preventive action initiatives.
- Analyze defect trends across customer, supplier, and internal sources to identify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in supplier evaluation and survey activities and proactively collaborate with suppliers to support process improvement.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure compliance with applicable quality policies, procedures, and standards, including ISO, EN4600, and GMP documentation requirements.
- Provide technical and logistical guidance to quality engineering teams and support departmental activities as required.
- Provide technical support to customers on quality-related matters and act as a liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal quality teams.
- Use SPC data and corrective-action tracking tools to drive quality improvements, organize appropriate follow-up activities, and strengthen preventive practices.
- Continuously improve technical support capabilities within the quality organization while maintaining compliance with safety, health, and security procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in quality engineering, manufacturing quality, process quality, or a related field.
- Experience developing and maintaining quality plans, process documentation, inspection procedures, and related quality systems.
- Strong understanding of corrective and preventive action processes, defect analysis, root-cause investigation, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to analyze quality and SPC data to identify trends, recurring defects, and improvement opportunities.
- Experience collaborating with suppliers and/or customers on quality issues and corrective actions.
- Familiarity with structured quality and compliance environments, including standards such as ISO,
EN4600, GMP, or similar frameworks.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to provide technical guidance across multiple functions.
- Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented approach to documentation, problem-solving, and quality management.
- Ability to work collaboratively across manufacturing, engineering, supplier, customer, and quality teams.
- Commitment to workplace safety, health requirements, information security, and established company procedures.
