EKAM is a fast-growing premium Indian fragrance house building a distinctive portfolio across home fragrance, gifting, and lifestyle scenting. We are creating products rooted in Indian fragrance heritage with a contemporary, design-led sensibility for today’s consumers.

As we scale across our own website, e-commerce marketplaces, and quick-commerce platforms, we are looking for an E-commerce Executive who can combine performance marketing execution with strong marketplace and operations coordination.

1. Quality Management System

- Implement and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) aligned with company standards.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, and internal quality protocols.
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality manuals, and inspection procedures.

2. Mandatory Regulatory Compliance Checks Ensure all products comply with Indian regulatory and safety standards before manufacturing and dispatch.

Regulatory Compliance Monitoring

- Monitor compliance with Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules for product labeling.
- Ensure compliance with Drugs & Cosmetics Act for cosmetic and fragrance-related products where applicable.
- Ensure adherence to IFRA (International Fragrance Association) guidelines for fragrance safety.
- Verify compliance with MSDS / Safety Data Sheet documentation for all chemicals and fragrance oils.

Labeling Compliance Verification Check that product labels include:

- Product name
- Net quantity (weight / volume)
- Manufacturer name and address
- Batch number / Lot number
- Manufacturing date
- Maximum Retail Price (MRP)
- Customer care details
- Usage instructions / safety warnings
- Country of origin (for imported components)

Safety Compliance

- Ensure flammability and safety standards for candles and fragrance oils.




- Ensure proper hazard labeling for chemicals
- Maintain fire safety compliance for manufacturing facilities.
- 3. Incoming Material Quality Control
- Inspect raw materials, packaging materials, fragrance oils, and chemicals.
- Verify supplier COA (Certificate of Analysis) and compliance documents.
- Conduct sampling and quality verification before approval.

4. In-Process Quality Control

- Monitor production batches to ensure adherence to defined quality standards.
- Conduct process inspections for candles, reed diffusers, sprays, and air fresheners.
- Ensure proper batch documentation and traceability.

5. Finished Goods Quality Assurance

- Perform final product inspection before dispatch.
- Verify:
- Product appearance
- Fragrance consistency
- Burn quality (for candles)
- Leakage testing (for diffusers and sprays)
- Packaging integrity- Approve batch release after quality clearance.

6. Documentation & Record Management

Maintain and manage

- Batch manufacturing records
- Inspection reports
- Non-conformance reports
- Supplier quality documentation
- Regulatory compliance records
- MSDS files

7. Customer Complaints & CAPA

- Investigate customer complaints related to product quality.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

8. Internal & External Audits

- Conduct regular internal quality audits.
- Prepare for external regulatory inspections and certifications.
- Ensure closure of audit observations.

9. Supplier Quality Management

- Evaluate supplier quality performance.
- Conduct supplier audits where required.
- Ensure suppliers provide quality certifications and compliance documentation.

10. Team Management

- Lead and supervise QA and QC team members.
- Train staff on quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
