Job Title: Automation QA Engineer

Location: Chennai , Tamil , India

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
- Execute automated regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end test suites.
- Perform API automation testing and backend validation.
- Validate databases using SQL queries.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test failures and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Participate in sprint planning, requirement analysis, and design reviews.
- Improve test coverage and reduce manual testing effort.
- Create and maintain automation documentation and test reports.
- Ensure software quality, stability,



and performance before release.

Required Skills

- Strong experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Appium.
- Programming knowledge in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
- Valuable understanding of SQL and database testing.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of performance and security testing is an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
