Role Overview

TechAhead is looking for an experienced QA Lead to drive quality assurance initiatives across Android, iOS, and cross-platform mobile applications. The role involves QA strategy, automation framework development, team leadership, and ensuring product quality throughout the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities

QA Leadership & Strategy

- - Define and implement QA strategies, standards, and best practices.
- Lead and mentor QA Engineers, SDETs, and Automation Testers.
- Drive test planning, estimation, execution, and release sign-offs.
- Collaborate with Product, Development, Design, and DevOps teams.

Mobile Application Testing

- - Own end-to-end testing for Android, iOS, and cross-platform apps.
- Ensure functional, regression, usability, performance, and security testing coverage.
- Validate applications across devices, OS versions, and screen sizes.
- Participate in requirement reviews and sprint planning.

Automation & Quality Engineering

- - Design and maintain automation frameworks using Appium and related tools.
- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Improve automation coverage and execution reliability.
- Drive shift-left testing and quality metrics.

Defect & Release Management

- - Manage defect lifecycle and root cause analysis.
- Coordinate with development teams to resolve critical issues.
- Support release readiness and production validation.




- Track quality KPIs and provide stakeholder reporting.

Required Skills

- - 9+ years of QA experience with at least 3 years in a Lead role.
- Strong expertise in Mobile Application Testing (Android & iOS).
- Hands-on experience with Appium, Playwright, TestNG or similar frameworks.
- API testing using Postman and REST Assured.
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD.
- Experience with Jira and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

- - Playwright or other up-to-date automation frameworks.
- Performance and security testing.
- Experience in enterprise mobile applications.
